U.S. Air Force pilots and crew chiefs from the 13th Fighter Squadron at Misawa Air Base, Japan, rush to prepare an F-16 Fighting Falcon for takeoff during Exercise Eager Tiger May 13, 2014, at an air base in northern Jordan. U.S. Marine Corps members assigned to Marine Air Group 50, Marine Corps Air Station Miramar, CA and members of the Royal Jordanian Air Force join Misawa AB airmen in competing for the fastest takeoff. The multinational exercise strengthens the partnership between U.S. and Jordanian forces and maintains the skill sets necessary to quickly and safely prepare aircraft for takeoff.
