Members of the 1742nd Transportation Company convoyed from Kandahar Airfield to Forward Operating Base Apache to bring back vehicles, storage containers and other equipment as part of Apache's retrograde and deconstruction. The soldiers loaded up equipment during the night, got some sleep as the sun was coming up, and began traveling back to Kandahar the next afternoon.
