Over the past 13 years, continuous deployments and a high operations tempo have prevented many chaplains from attending the Chaplain
Captain Career Course, also called the C4 Course. This backlog resulted in a
number of chaplains attending the course as majors, in promotable status, or in the primary zone. Chaplain (COL) Ken Stice, director, DACH-3/5/7, explains the branch's plan to clear up the backlog of chaplains who need to complete
the C4 course.
