    On Nov. 18, 2014, U.S. Army Medical Research Institute of Infectious Diseases (USAMRIID) trains military personnel from the U.S. and international partners to properly don and remove Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) when dealing with viruses such as Ebola. The class is part of a week-long training event hosted at JBSA-Fort Sam Houston, Texas.
    U.S. Army North (Fifth Army) prepares and trains a 30-person medical support team that could, if required, provide short-notice assistance to civilian medical professionals in the United States. The goal of the training is to ensure the personnel are ready to respond quickly, effectively and safely in the event of additional Ebola cases in the U.S. Lieutenant Commander Steven Schutt, U.S. Navy, talks about the going through the training, and discusses the importance of it.
