Laysan Albatross eggs collected from the Pacific Missile Range Facility are transported via a U.S. Navy C-26 aircraft to the Pacific Rim Conservation office in Honolulu. The Navy in partnership with the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service and Pacific Rim Conservation are attempting to establish a new Laysan Albatross colony on the northern coast of Oahu from eggs collected at PMRF that were unable to be placed with foster albatross on Kauai.
