The U.S. Army Alaska Aviation Task Force located at Fort Wainwright, Alaska is providing medevac helicopter available for civilian Search and rescue (SAR) and Medevac beginning April 1, 2015. these assets will be available to the interior of Alaska at the request of civilian authorities through the Rescue Coordination Center (RCC).
