Marines with 2nd Battalion, 2nd Marine Regiment, conducted land navigation training aboard Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune, North Carolina, March 30-31, 2015. After a six mile sustainment hike, the Marines were divided into fire teams and given the coordinates for their assigned group and they were given twelve hours to find all ten of their points. The exercise was part of a week long course that included frag grenade training, repelling, and similar skills utilized by Marines in the field.
