U.S. Marines with 3rd Battalion, 3rd Marines, 3rd Marine Division, join their Philippine counterparts for jungle survival training in Crow Valley, Philippines, April 24. Philippine Marines led the training as part of exercise Balikatan 2015. Combined Vigilance, the large scale exercise in Crow Valley, is a fully integrated training exercise with the Filipino and U.S. Marines working shoulder-to-shoulder and learning from each other. Exercise Balikatan is a bilateral training exercise between the Armed Forces of the Philippines and U. S. military to increase interoperability.
