Naval aviators assigned to Carrier Air Wing (CVW) 5, who deploy with the aircraft carrier USS George Washington, practice touch-and-go landings during field carrier landing practice at Iwo To, Japan. CVW-5 part of Commander, Task Force (CTF) 70, is forward deployed in Yokosuka, Japan, in support of efforts to protect and defend the collective maritime interests of the U.S. and its partners and allies in the Indo-Asia-Pacific region.
