JBSA-Randolph is a small base it has a big problem because of the trees. It is lush and green and in fact is called Tree City USA. The trees attract a large number of birds which increase the risk of bird strikes. Mike Pacheco is a U.S. Department of Agriculture employee hired by Randolph to keep the flight line as bird-free as possible. Produced by Deb Decker.
