U.S. Army Reserve medical Soldiers receive training at Fort Hunter Liggett, California during Operation Caucasus Restore. This training involved role players acting as casualties showing specific signs and symptoms, giving Army medics and doctors a chance to diagnose notional issues. There were also life-like mannequins with simulated injuries, providing a realistic training environment. Medical units were also challenged with mass casualty exercises, which added a great deal of stress. The planning, mentorship, and control and observation of this training were provided by the Medical Readiness Training Command's 7302nd and 7307th MTSB’s.
