A combined force of paratroopers from the Bulgarian 68th Special Forces Brigade, the Italian Army's Folgore Regiment and the U.S. Army's 173rd Airborne Brigade and 82nd Airborne Division conducted a parachute assault onto Balchik Airfield,Bulgaria Aug.24,2015 to start Exercise Swift Response 15. Swift Response is a large-scale airborne exercise involving 4,500 troops from 11 NATO nations. The combined force led by the 173rd Airborne Brigade, also dropped artillery and an additional 150 paratroopers into Tenevo Airfield in Bulgaria
