Nearly three thousand veterans, families and community members came out to support the Vietnam War 50th Anniversary Commemoration ‘Welcome Home’ Ceremony held at Veterans Park in White Settlement, Texas, Saturday morning on August first.
The day started with a welcome home parade filled with floats, flags, military vehicles and Vietnam veterans as supporters lined the streets. Following the parade, a commemoration ceremony was held to thank the U.S. veterans, allies, families, POW's and those who remain Missing in Action for their service and sacrifice on behalf of the United States.
