Mechanics with Amphibious Assault Platoon, Company E, Battalion Landing Team 2/6, make repairs to an amphibious assault vehicle (AAV) aboard the USS Oak Hill (LSD-51), Oct. 27, 2015. The units five mechanics are responsible for keeping an aging fleet of AAV’s operational while forward deployed with the 26th Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU).
