An MH-65 Dolphin helicopter aircrew from Coast Guard Air Facility North Bend rescues a sailor in distress 17 miles off the Oregon coast, after the man was reportedly caught in 22-foot seas and wind gusts of up to 57 mph, Dec. 7, 2015

Coast Guard officials in the Pacific Northwest urge mariners to take precautions in heavy weather conditions or to avoid going out to sea altogether.
