U.S. Army Soldiers with the 814th Multi-Role Bridging Company out of Fort Polk, La., and Iraqi engineers with the 15th Iraqi Army Division, assemble an improved ribbon bridge as part of Building Partner Capacity training in Baghdad, Nov. 20, 2015. This training will provide the Iraqi soldiers with freedom of maneuver and additional options for conducting operations. With the proper equipment and training, the IA will no longer be restricted to roads and will be able to cross any size river during operations. On Dec. 22, 2015, ISF used this exact bridge to cross the Euphrates River during their assault toward Ramadi, Iraq's city center.
