U.S Army South's 1/228th Aviation Regiment and Joint Task Force-Bravo, at Soto Cano Air Base in Honduras, partner with the Honduran government as they support them in Operation Caravana. This unique mission enhances the Honduran government's efforts to diminish regional drug trafficking networks. While supporting the mission, U.S. Servicemembers gain valuable flight time and interaction with the nation partners, by transporting hundreds of troops, supplies and equipment to remote sites. Caravana started in October of 2014 and has successfully conducted 16 missions to date. Sound bites included.
