Marines with 11th Marine Regiment, 1st Marine Division, I Marine Expeditionary Force celebrate St. Barbara's Day-- the patron saint of Artillery--, Jan. 21, 2016. The battalions went head-to-head in friendly competitions including a field meet and handmade trebuchets which launched gallons of water up to 100 yards. The regiment used this day to honor the artillerymen before them with a memorial service and a ceremony where new members were inducted into the Honorable Order of St. Barbara.
