C Battery, 1st Battalion, 10th Marine Regiment, sets up their M777 Howitzers in the snow in Rena, Norway, Feb. 23, 2016, in preparation for Exercise Cold Response 16. Testing the howitzers in the cold weather enables the Marines to better understand their equipment in a snowy environment. The Marines will be providing support to ground units during the exercise, which will involve 12 NATO allies and partners later this month. The exercise is an opportunity for the militaries to work together and train to respond to any future crises.
