Marines from Alpha Battery, 3d Low Altitude Air Defense Battalion (3d LAAD Bn.) conduct mounted patrols on Camp Red Devil, Fort Carson, CO., Feb 24, 2016. in support of 3d LAAD Bn., Deployment for Training (DFT). 3d LAAD Bn. does both ground base air defense, and ground security of aviation sights. This DFT is to accomplish both roles in 3d LAAD Bn. Mission in a single training sight.
