U.S. Marines with Marine Corps Air Station (MCAS) Beaufort and Marine Wing Support Squadron-273 (MWSS-273) test the air station's M-31 expeditionary airfield arresting gear system. The excersice was conducted to test the M-31 as well as to train the EAF Marines aboard MCAS Beaufort and MWSS-273. The arrested F/A-18 Hornet was from Marine Fighter Attack Squadron-251, a tenant command of MCAS Beaufort.
