On April 5th alert procedures for the activation of the NATO Response Force 2016 started in Pontevedra, in the north of Spain for the 7th Light Infantry Brigade “Galicia”, BRILAT. This is the 1st phase of the exercise Brilliant Jump, the alert phase of the exercise.
This alert exercise will take place in different headquarters and commands of the Alliance and is designed to test the procedures employed within the NATO Response Force, this year led by Spain.
The 7th Light Infantry Brigade “Galicia” in Pontevedra starts the alert procedures for the Exercise Brilliant Jump 2016 for rapid deployment.
