Marine Corps Air Station Miramar Base Safety, in coordination with the installation’s Provost Marshal’s Office and fire department, conducted a base lockdown exercise aboard MCAS Miramar, Calif., May 3. The base wide drill required all personnel, with the exception of the air field, to practice lockdown procedures from 1:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m.
