Soldiers in Charlie Company, 181st Brigade Support Battalion conduct a mass casualty event to simulate the high number of casualties expected following a Cascadia Subduction Zone event. The medical company would be responsible for immediate response through sustained care in the field. The medics dealt with notional patients played by soldiers from the 303rd Cavalry Regiment suffering from loss of limbs, sucking chest wounds, impaled objects and even combative psychiatric patients.
