George Coleman, a 94-year-old Marine veteran living in North Highlands, Calif., shares his experience serving with 1st Battalion, 4th Marine Regiment, in the historic Shanghai garrison in 1940. Coleman later served with 1st Marine Division on Cape Gloucester, New Guineau, Peleliu, and Okinawa.
