MARINE CORPS AIR STATION MIRAMAR, Calif., (Aug. 16, 2016) Marines with Security Forces Platoon, I Marine Expeditionary Force Headquarters Group (I MHG), execute a mass-casualty drill during I Marine Expeditionary Force Large Scale Exercise. The priority of the platoon was to secure the perimeter and transport the casualties to the first aid station to get medically treated by hospital corpsmen. Large Scale Exercise 2016 (LSE-16) simulates the planning, deployment and combat operations of a Marine Expeditionary Force level composed of more than 50,000 members and a partner country, while working with coalition forces.
