U.S. Marines assigned to Unmanned Aerial Vechicle Squadron 3 (VMU-3) launch a RQ-7B V2 Unmanned Aerial Vechicle (UAV), during Lava Viper 17.1 at Cooper Air Field aboard Pohokalua Training Area on the big island of Hawaii on Oct 21, 2016. Lava Viper is an annual combined arms training exercise that integrates ground elements such as infantry and logistics, with indirect fire from artillery units as well as air support from aviation elements.
