U.S. Airmen from the 116th Security Forces Squadron (SFS), 116th Air Control Wing, Georgia Air National Guard, discuss the security forces career field and their experience serving in the Air National Guard, Robins Air Force Base, Ga., Nov. 6, 2016. The safety and security of people, property, and resources of the Air National Guard is the sole mission of Security Forces. Airmen in this career field receive extensive training in law enforcement and combat tactics. The 116th SFS has deployed overseas on numerous occasions and participated in stateside domestic operations missions such as the recent support in the aftermath of Hurricane Matthew on Georgia’s east coast.
