U.S. Marines conduct a platoon assault before going live during Korea Marine Exercise Program 17-1 Nov. 25, 2016 at Suseong -ri range, South Korea. Before big scale assaults Marines initially rehearse with thier fire teams and work their way up to performing them with the platoon. The U.S. Marines are Pacific region Marines are assigned to 3rd Battalion, 2nd Marine Regiment which is forward deployed from Camp Lejeune, North Carolina, to 3rd Marine Division, based in Okinawa, Japan.
