The Oklahoma National Guard transferred the historical Blackwell armory to the City of Blackwell, Oklahoma, on Thursday. The Blackwell armory housed Oklahoma Army National Guardsmen starting in 1938 after it was built under President Roosevelt’s Works Projects Administration.
