The 31st MEU conducted Amphibious Integration Training March 14 near Camp Hansen, Okinawa, Japan. AIT allows them to integrate with their Navy counterparts & exercise core crisis response capabilities. This training is part of their Spring Deployment 2017 which focuses on training and Pacific security cooperation initiatives to strengthen allied relationships. Okinawa continues to be a vital contribution to the enduring alliance, which is a cornerstone of peace and stability in the region.
