U.S. Soldiers from the 2nd Stryker Cavalry Regiment Battle Group, set up a Satellite Transportable Terminal (STT) system at Orzysz, Poland, on March 25, 2017. The STT is an optimized, over-the-horizon communications system ideally suited for tactical communications missions. The 2nd Cav. Regt., is currently deployed to Orzysz, Poland for six months in support of NATO's Enhanced Forward Presence (EFP). NATO's EFP is an allied, forward deployed defense and deterrence posture in Eastern Europe to protect and reassure NATO's Eastern member states of their security.
