April is Sexual Assault Awareness and Prevention month within the military services. In honor of this, the 145th Airlift Wing Sexual Assault Response Coordinator Captain Lindsey Weston in conjunction with public affairs has produced a video highlighting victim advocacy and the Green Dot program. The video includes interviews with the Wing Commander, and randomly selected airmen from around the Charlotte Douglas Air National Guard Base. Throughout the video there are also slides that continuously remind members of the Wing of the various resources for sexual assault prevention and reporting. The video also includes helpful information about the Air Force Green Dot program including an interview with two of the 145th AW Green Dot coordinators.
