Being an Air Force kid means serving your country in a unique way. It means supporting a parent or parents who have decided to serve. It means time apart from loved ones, moves, and a deeper understanding of service and sacrifice. It means adapting, being flexible, and testing what you thought you could handle. Military kids and families truly are the best deal our nation gets, and they can never get enough gratitude or recognition.
General Dave Goldfein and his wife Dawn, grew up as military kids and raising some Air Force kids themselves, they understand the unique way our military kids serve their country. In the Month of the Military Child and year round, they, along with CMSAF Kaleth O. Wright and his wife Tonya want to express theirr heartfelt gratitude to our Air Force kids for being wingmen to their parents.
