Soldiers from Slovakia will spend the next three months training in Latvia. 150 soldiers will exercise with their Latvian counterparts.
At the NATO Summit in Warsaw 2016, it was agreed that all countries in the Visegrad group will support the Baltic States on a rotational basis. The Visegrad group, or V4 as it’s referred to, is a political alliance of four Central European Countries which includes the Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland and Slovakia. The footage was filmed by the Latvian Ministry of Defense. It includes shots of Slovakian troops with their Latvian counterparts at Adazi Military Base in Latvia.
