The 2nd General Health Battalion participated in a mass casualty scenario at Williamson Airfield, July 7, 2017. The scenario was based on and influx of patients with varying injuries to test and train the hospital for real-world situations a Role-2 trauma care facility.
TS17 is an Australian, United States, and New Zealand combined exercise focused on the planning and conduct of a “high end” mid intensity war fighting activity involving a Pacific theatre campaign under US Pacific Command.
Running until late July 2017, most TS17 exercises are taking place in Shoalwater Bay, but activities are also occurring in Townsville, Enoggera, Amberley and Darwin.
