In a traditional naval ceremony held in the Midway Ceremonial Drill Hall at Recruit Training Command (RTC), Rear Adm. Mike Bernacchi will take command of Naval Service Training Command (NSTC) from Rear Adm. Stephen C. Evans, Aug. 9 on Naval Station Great Lakes, Illinois. Vice Adm., Robert P. Burke, Chief of Naval Personnel, will be the principle speaker at the ceremony. Rear Adm. Kyle Cozad, commander, Naval Education and Training Command (NETC), will be the presiding officer for the ceremony.
