Senior Airman Kevin Greene, an Air Force Reserve amputee with the 920th Rescue Wing, returned to work Aug. 6, 2017 at Patrick Air Force Base, Florida, after more than two years of being inactive. Greene, who lost a portion of his left leg in a motorcycle accident on Dec. 17, 2014, is the first and only Air Force Reserve amputee to serve at Patrick AFB.
