    USS Sterett (DDG 104) returns home to San Diego today following a deployment to the Western Pacific under Commander, U.S. 3rd Fleet control as part of the 3rd Fleet Forward initiative. Sterett and embarked Helicopter Maritime Squadron (HSM) 49, along with USS Dewey (DDG 105) and embarked HSM 78, deployed as part of the Sterett-Dewey Surface Action Group (SAG) and departed San Diego for the Western Pacific, March 31.
