    7 Foundational Movement – Lunge

    Secondary Muscle Groups – N/A
    Preparation:
    The Marine will place the TRX in mid-length and in single handle mode. They will stand with their right or left shoulder toward the anchor point. The Marine will place the inside foot into the foot cradle.
    Execution:
    The Marine will create stability in their torso by extending their arms in front of them and place their palms together in an isometric contraction. The Marine will drive the suspended leg to the side and lower the hips toward the deck until the front knee is at a 90 degree bend. From the bottom the Marine will drive their hips back up to the starting position and bring the suspended leg back to the neutral position.
    Common Mistakes: - Not keeping the weight bearing foot flat
    - Dropping the chest
