170912-N-ZK016-001 ATLANTIC OCEAN (Sept. 12, 2017) Marines attached to the 26th Marine Expeditionary Unit board an MH-60R/SH60B Sea Hawk on the flight deck aboard the amphibious assault ship USS Iwo Jima (LHD 7) during humanitarian relief efforts. The Department of Defense is supporting the Federal Emergency Management Agency, the lead federal agency, in helping those affected by Hurricane Irma to minimize suffering and is one component of the overall whole-of-government response effort.
