    Video by Capt. Matthew Holfinger

U.S. Marine Corps Training and Education Command

    Lower Body Flexibility & Mobility
    Target Area – Upper Back
    Preparation:
The Marine will start in the kneeling position with the right foot flat, left knee on the deck, and, both knees at a 90 degree bend, they will be facing the anchor point. The Marine will grasp the TRX handles with an overhanded grip.
    Execution:
The Marine will extend the arms over head into a “Y” position maintaining tension in the TRX. They will press through the front heel and come up into a split squat stance. From the top position they will drop back down while keeping hands over head and tension in the TRX and tap the knee on the deck.
Common Mistakes: - Slack in the TRX
    - Not keeping arms locked out
    - Not keeping forward knee over ankle
