Muscle Activation
Preparation:
The Marine will start standing tall with feet hip width apart.
Execution:
The Marine will step out at a 45 degree angle with one leg, keeping the shoulders square to the direction they are facing. They will drop the hips toward the deck while keeping the front foot flat and the chest up. The rear knee should not touch the deck. The Marine will push off the front leg and return to the starting position, repeating on the other side.
Common Mistakes: - Turning the chest toward the direction of travel
