On April 27, 2017, the 807th Medical Command (Deployment Support) participated in the Great Utah Shake Out to test emergency preparedness, exercise its contingency operations plan, and improve individual readiness.
According to www.shakeout.org/utah, the Wasatch Fault has a major earthquake every 350 to 400 years. Approximately 80 percent of Utah's 2.7 million people live and work in the region.
