Military presence at the Henry E. Rohlsen International Airport on the Island of St. Croix, Virgin Islands, remains high. A steady rotation of military aircraft delivers pallets of meals-ready-to-it (MREs), bottled water, sleeping cots and National Guard personnel. Maj. Arthur Hector, Virgin Islands National Guard member, is currently augmenting in military logistics to ensure supplies are sorted, loaded onto trucks and delivered to one of five points of distribution (POD) on the island for people in need of food, water and/or shelter.
