Corporal Francisco Santos, from Spain’s Military Emergency Unit, uses drones in his daily job to help rescue victims trapped in near-inaccessible areas. This piece was filmed during a disaster response exercise in Bosnia and Herzegovina, involving 34 NATO and partner countries. It was the 17th international field exercise organised by NATO’s Euro-Atlantic Disaster Response Coordination Centre (EADRCC).
Footage shows various scenes from the exercise including Corporal Santos (Unidad Militar de Emergencias/ Military Emergency Unit) flying a drone.
