U.S. Airmen assigned to the 249th Airlift Squadron and the 517th Maintenance Squadron, survey pallets loaded on a C-17 Globemaster III from the 175th Airlift Wing, Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson, Alaska, during Exercise Southern Katipo 17 (SK17) at Royal New Zealand Air Force Base Ohakea, Oct. 21, 2017. The airlift supplied necessary food and supplies to military members stationed at Woodbourne Air Base, New Zealand during SK17, a biannual, multinational military training designed to improve participating forces’ combat training, readiness and interoperability as part of a joint inter-agency task force (JIATF).
