U.S. Marines escort foreign officers during exercise Bold Alligator 17 at Marine Corps Auxiliary Landing Field Bogue, N.C., Oct. 25, 2017. The officers were shown some capabilities of Bold Alligator participants and the potential it has to improve combat readiness and unity, in possible future expeditionary operations. Bold Alligator 17 is a training exercise focused on a regimental amphibious assault that also allows the Navy and Marine Corps team to train with partner nations to refine and strengthen core amphibious competencies critical to maritime power projection.
