After a bacterial infection caused the loss of retired rescue swimmer Dave Riley's limbs, he found the strength to pursue life with passion and motivate other disabled veterans. Riley was elected National Commander of the Disabled American Veterans at the organization’s 2016 National Convention in Atlanta, Georgia.
