    1st Special Operations Wing

    Senior Airman Nicole Pederson is a dedicated crew chief with the 1st Special Operations Aircraft Maintenance Squadron at Hurlburt Field, Fla. Pederson was named the DCC for the newest AC-130J to arrive at Hurlburt Field in January 2017. Dedicated Crew Chiefs are responsible for managing and supervising all maintenance on their respective aircraft by coordinating with other maintenance specialties such as propulsion, hydraulics and fuels to ensure the aircraft is operational in a timely manner.
